When to get in touch
Fit matters as much as the material.
Bottom retainers, door width, panel condition, and the floor all affect the fit of a seal. A new seal can address worn material, but it cannot correct every uneven floor, drainage, or door alignment problem.
- Rubber at the bottom is split, flattened, or missing.
- Daylight is visible around the closed door.
- Exterior weather stripping is loose or deteriorating.
What we can help with
GarageCraft offers bottom-seal replacement and exterior weather-strip service. Share a photo of the closed door and the worn seal to help us understand the issue.
Keep hands clear of the door edges and do not loosen lifting hardware to reach a seal. If the door moves unevenly, have that issue checked first.
Your questions, answered.
Will a new seal make the garage waterproof?
No. Seals can reduce gaps, but drainage, floor slope, and weather exposure also matter. We do not promise a watertight garage.
Can you replace just the bottom seal?
Often, yes. The retainer and bottom section need to be suitable for the replacement.
